RemoteMapp M is the first mobile application of a series of remote control apps for in-stage adjustments of projection mapping situations. RemoteMapp M is a remote control specifically designed to control Millumin 3. RemoteMapp M does not work with any prior versions of Millumin.

When you download RemoteMapp M for the first time, you will be able to select and manipulate only one layer of your Millumin’s composition until you start your 14 day free trial. Please read the Subscription Screen section of this manual to know how to activate the App and read our Terms of Service & Privacy Policy to learn better about our prices and conditions.

Mapping Surface

The main screen is the core of the application, here is where you can manipulate Millumin’s session remotely.



In this screen are located the parameters and functions to establish communication with Millumin. In this screen you can also go to the Unlock / Subscription screen.



In this page you can acquire or cancel your subscription plan at any time. The Manage Subscription button will transfer you directly to your corresponding App Store (Apple Store or Google Play) to manage your subscription.



This page is only shown the first time you open the app. It shows basic functionality and descriptions of the app. You can re-open it at any time from the Settings Screen’s Tutorial button.


Mapping Screen

The main screen is the core of the application, here is where you can manipulate Millumin’s session remotely.


1. Layer List

This scrollable list shows all the layers present in the current Millumin 3’s session. In this list is where you can select one or more layers to edit.

2. Selected Layer(s)

You can tap in one or multiple layers in the list to select it and edit it in the Mapping Surface. You can show or hide the layers by pressing the eye icon in each row of the list.

3. Move Corners Mode

When selected, you can manipulate the four corners -blue circles- (7) for adjusting the mapping corners of any of the selected layers of the layer list (2).

4. Select Points Mode

When this mode is operating, you can confidently select all the points you want to move or adjust simultaneously with the arrows located on the right side of the view (18). The amount to move is determined by the Step indicator (15).

5. Manipulate Layer Mode

When this mode is selected, you can move any layer by tapping and dragging the selected layer directly in the Mapping Surface (7). You can also manipulate the mapping corners in this mode.

6. Snap Mode

When Snap Mode is selected, mapping corners will automatically fit to the closest adjacent point when moving. This ensures mapping quality and precision.

7. Layer’s surface

When a layer is selected, it will show it’s four mapping corners with blue circles, you can also select a layer in Move Corners and Manipulate Layer modes by tapping over the surface for one second (7), selecting a layer in this way will deselect all other selected layers.

8. Precision Zoom View

When you are dragging a mapping corner, this box will automatically appear in the Mapping Surface for you to view with precision the point that you are dragging as your finger is obstructing the exact point you are moving.

9. Connection Settings & Subscriptions

Tap this gear for accessing the Connection Settings for Millumin. When navigated to this screen you will also find controls to manage your subscription.

10. Refresh from Millumin

You can always press this button to force RemoteMapp tu pull all information from Millumin right away. OSC packets traveling by WiFi can be lost sometimes, so you can always use this button to sync with Millumin.

11. Undo

When you move a mapping corner or surface, you can always Undo the operation to the previous state with this button.

12. Redo

When you make an Undo operation you can always press this Redo button to restore the state of the mapping to the previous movement.

13. Right Tools

This container of tools can be closed or opened with the >> button. The same can be done for the Layer List with the << button. This closing enables you to have more space to map.

14. Column Controls

With these four buttons you can send command to Millumin for column operations: Back, Next, Stop and Play..

15. Steps

In the text field you will always be able to determine the amount of pixels you want to move the selected points (4) using the arrows (18). You can use the keyboard, the slider (17) or the Gyroscope mode (16) to adjust the step value.

When Gyroscope Mode is turned on, you can change the Step Value (15) by moving your phone’s inclination towards front or rear, this allows experienced users to map surfaces really fast.

17. Step slider

Use this slider to adjust the step size while moving points with arrows (18) while using the Select Points Mode (4).

18. Arrows

When Select Points Mode is turned on (4), you can move the selected points which are marked by a white circle to any direction: Up, Down, Left or Right. Each time you press one of the arrows, the point will move the amount of pixels setter in the Step indicator (15).



This screen allows you to establish a connection with a computer running Millumin. You can also check your subscription status and enter the Subscription Settings screen at the right of the screen.


RemoteMapp should automatically find, ask you and connect to Millumin automatically when started. This screen can help you to find Milllumin computers or changing from one connection to another. Once a connection with Millumin is established it should be stable when closing or opening the app in the same network without any setting.


1. Autodetect Millumin Button

This button is used to detect Millumin computers on the local WiFi network. When pressed several network operations are done in background to find a computer on the network that is running Millumin. In the happy path, the connection parameters (3), (4) and (5) should be automatically setted if there is just one computer running Millumin in the network. In the case there are several computers running Millumin in the same network, the app will ask you one by one if you want to connect or ignore, then all parameters should be setted and steady to run. In the Status indicator (2) you will have feedback from the connection status until you will see the “Connected” label.

2. Status Indicator

This label shows the status of the connection or operation with Millumin.

3. Millumin computer’s IP

This text field can be automatically updated or manually edited to input the IP of the computer running Millumin.

4. Millumin In Port

This text field can be automatically updated or manually edited to input the port used by Millumin for receiving OSC messages.

5. Status Indicator

This text field can be automatically updated or manually edited to input the Millumin’s outgoing port for sending OSC Messages. This also reflects the Port in which RemoteMapp M receives OSC messages.

6. Local IP and instructions

This label the IP address for the device (iOS or Android) in which RemoteMapp M is running. This are the parameters that should be set in Milllumin Device Manager OSC settings screen. Please note that there is a Bonjour button in Millumin that should automatically or or multiple RemoteMapp M apps running in the same network.

7. Subscription Status Indicator

This label shows the status of your subscription, if you see “Application Locked” it means you have no active subscription with your App Store for RemoteMapp M. For purchasing a subscription, you should press the “Unlock button”. Please refer to the Subscription Status screen section of this manual for more details regarding subscriptions.

8. Unlock / Manage - Subscription button

This button allows you to acquire a subscription or manage you current subscription if found. Please refer to Subscription settings screen in this manual for details regarding subscriptions.

9. Tutorial

This button allows re-opening the On-Boarding screen you see the first time you open the app. Please see the On-Boarding screen section of this manual for details regarding that screen.

10. Back

This button closes the Settings screen to return to the Mapping Surface.

Subscription Status

In this screen you can unlock the app. You can buy, monitor, refresh, manage or cancel you subscription to RemoteMapp M. Please go to the RemoteMapp M Terms of Service for a detailed explanation regarding subscriptions.


1. Status

This label shows the “Active” if you have an active subscription with you App Store. If you have not an active subscription, you will see the “Inactive” indicator. To buy a subscription press one of the buy buttons (5) or (6).

2. Purchased In

This label shows the first time you acquired your current subscription if active. It will remain in the same date even if your app store automatically auto-renew your subscription.

3. Original Duration

This label shows the original duration of your current subscription if active, either 30 days or 1 year.

4. Manage subscription

This button will lead you to you corresponding App Store depending on your platform. You can always cancel your subscription using this button.

7. Subscription Terms & Privacy policies

This is information regarding RemoteMapp M subscriptions, and it’s mainly the same found in the App Stores and in the RemoteMapp M Subscription Terms & Privacy Policy section of Loud-Pixel’s website.

8. Back

Use this button to return to the Settings Screen.


On-Boarding / Tutorial

This screen is shown the first time you open RemoteMapp M. It can also be opened again in the Settings Screen “Tutorial” button.


1. Section Title

This label shows the current video / tutorial’s title.

2. Video Playback

This video player loads remote videos for showing the application’s functionality, we are always working improving these videos so they are getting better all the time.

3. Section text

Brief text describing the video being played.

4. Previous / Next Controls

Use this buttons to navigate to see more tutorials / videos.

5. Close

Use this button to close the On-Boarding screen. You can always re-open it from the Settings Screen’s “Tutorial” button.
